How to Adopt

We want every kitten to find a loving home that is the right fit for them and for your family.

Find the right kitten(s)

Find a kitten you're interested in and read their profile to get to know them and see whether they're a good fit for your home.

Most of our kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, so be sure to read about their bonded or required pair as well and make sure both kittens are a good fit for your family.

Meet the kitten

We always recommend a meet-and-greet before adoption whenever possible. This gives you an opportunity to meet the kitten, interact with them, ask questions, and make sure they are a good fit for your family.

A meet-and-greet may take place at an adoption event or at another arranged location, depending on the circumstances.

Submit an adoption application

Submit an adoption application through No Paws Left Behind Kitty Rescue. The rescue will provide the appropriate application and submission instructions.

Application review

Your application will be reviewed by the rescue. You will be notified whether your application has been approved.

Adoption contract

If your application is approved, you will need to complete an adoption contract. This contract is most commonly completed in person at the adoption event or arranged meeting location.

Bring your new family member home

Once the adoption process has been completed through the rescue, you can bring your new family member home!

Every adopted kitten goes home with a folder containing their medical information and a care guide.

Paws & Purr Fosters is a foster team working with No Paws Left Behind Kitty Rescue. The kittens in our care are placed with us through the rescue, which oversees the adoption process and helps each kitten find the right home.
